Kingfield has been home to Mt. Abram Regional Health Center since 1986. Residents from Carrabassett Valley, Coplin and Dallas Plantations, Eustis, Kingfield, New Portland, and Stratton, as well as other locations in and outside of Maine access a variety of primary care services at the practice. We offer check-ups for the entire family, care of acute and chronic conditions and referrals to specialty care and community services. In addition, our specialists help our patients enroll in programs that alleviate healthcare, medication and laboratory expenses. The health center receives ongoing support and feedback from Mt. Abram Regional Health Care Corporation, a board of committed local residents.

Mt. Abram's location in Kingfield is known as the gateway to Sugarloaf, the largest ski resort in the eastern U.S. and second highest elevation in Maine. Among its many recreational activities, it is also the headquarters for Maine Huts and Trails, which links trails in Maine for hiking and cross-country skiing.
