Rangeley Family Medicine opened in 1994 with the enthusiastic support of an active community board. With the emergence of the practice came high quality medical services and the availability of healthcare in the community. Healthcare was now conveniently accessible to the citizens of Rangeley and surrounding towns. The following year, the center moved to a modern medical building on Dallas Hill Road, offering a full range of primary care services to patients of all ages.

In 2010, 1,774 local residents from Dallas and Lincoln Plantations, Madrid, Magalloway, Rangeley, Sandy River, and other towns, as well as visitors from away, utilized health center services. These include routine physicals, chronic and acute medical visits, laboratory services and minor surgery.

The Rangeley Lakes Region offers a variety of exploration activities. Enjoy an aerial view while on a float plane tour or become more intimate with the area on a lake cruise. Venture into the woods on your skis or snowshoes. Experience the vibrant foliage of fall while hooking a trout or a salmon. This area of Maine is abundant with lakes, ponds, streams, and thousands of acres of wildlife filled forests.
