Help a neighbor during National Health Center Week food drive
STRONG – National Health Center Week is August 7-13, and to celebrate, the Strong Area Health Center will be holding a food drive to benefit the local food bank at The Salem Economic Ministry. Donations may be dropped off anytime during normal business hours at the health center located at 177 North Main Street in Strong, from Monday, August 8 – Friday, August 19.
"We are a 'community health center' serving populations in Strong and surrounding communities," says Practice Manager Jewellyn Baker. "We feel that a food drive is a great way to celebrate our community and encourage our neighbors to help each other."
A drop box will be conveniently located in the health center’s waiting area through August 19. Patients and the general public are encouraged to donate canned goods and non-perishable food items.
